Challenges
Due to the rapid growth of digitalisation and widespread usage of data, more and more information about events, people, technologies and entire organisations is becoming available on the Internet. Information can be shared, among others by the companies themselves, partner entities or governmental organisations. Information publishers are often unaware of the importance of the data they use. By doing so, they can generate risks associated with unauthorised access to sensitive information from a company’s perspective. The sheer volume of information available on the Internet means that not all of it is easily accessible, but it does not make it impossible to access it. Awareness of what data about an organisation can be found through public sources is important for risk management.
How can we help?
The goal of OSINT’s activities is to detect and analyse information about the enterprise in publicly available sources, along with an indication of which information and to what extent it can be used to perform cyber attacks on specific resources. The collected data is analysed for possible attack vectors and the likelihood of their use. At the same time, an analysis is carried out on how to limit the amount of particularly sensitive information available about the company on the Internet and how to prevent publication of such content in the future.
